In this article, we describe how to switch from another cloud service (such as Dropbox or Google Photos) to Storegate.
The files to be uploaded to Storegate need to reside locally on your computer, which may mean that you need to download the files from the previous storage service to your computer before they can be uploaded to Storegate. There are several ways to upload files to your Storegate account.
The following software is used for uploading:
Storegate Online Backup
Upload photos and videos from your smartphone via the Storegate app. In the app, you can also choose to have automatic backups of photos and videos.
Files larger than 2GB are uploaded via the website www.storegate.com
It is also possible to upload all files via the website instead of using software.
